Joining the Job Board Summit debate – Isabelle Hung

Isabelle has a wide and varied background. She worked at Monster in the early 2000’s within the HR and Recruiting capacity, held senior In-House Recruiting positions at Yell and Harrods and then joined the global RPO business Alexander Mann Solutions. Isabelle initially took on the role as Global Head of Talent Acquisition, which expanded to include all “Global Partnerships”. This included all of AMS’s candidate supply channels.

Why Specialist Job Boards Are On The Rise

Job boards have been part of the recruitment strategy for many years. When they first came on the scene in the mid-90s they were revolutionary and changed the way we recruited. No longer did recruiters have to post adverts through printed media, everything could be done more efficiently online.

We have now become accustomed to job boards and with most recruiters using the mainstream boards it is no longer revolutionary, often failing to provide unique candidates.

Job Board News – North America

Our first six weeks have been busy and we’ve seen lots of news from the Job Board world. One of the first things we’d like to share is our event, The North American Job Board Summit. This is now in its second year and taking place in Orlando on the 26-27th June. The event will see hundreds of senior job board executives meet to discuss topics and challenges that the industry faces today. This will include the mobile candidate, pricing, how to add value and retain clients, generating new revenue opportunities and much more.

It’s a great event to connect and network, meet old friends and touch base with industry vendors in a relaxed atmosphere.
